It's OK to Reevaluate Your Goals
Goals are simple.  We set out to attain a change in our lives, and we get so excited to do it.  To get the change.

But implementing the goals is harder than it seems.  It is a daily commitment to yourself and to making you a priority.

Simple does not mean easy, but with commitment  we can make our dreams a reality.

To start out 2023, I found out that in Human Design the new year is not celebrated until a bit later in January.  This year, Rave New Year was celebrated on January 22.  Rave New Year is considered the New Year in Human Design.  Before that time, we (the collective) went through periods of closing out 2022 and there was resistance in the energy for starting new things.

Well, resistance or not, I kept with my goals.  The first two weeks were great, I completed nearly every task on my checklist everyday.  That was more than I initially intended to do.  I gave myself room for rest, but I was feeling the momentum so I went for it.

I had four types of goals:
  • Mindset - Do affirmations and meditations
  • Physical - Walk an average of 50 miles a month
  • Spiritual - Journal and spend time in silence to allow my channel to open
  • Lifestyle - Blog and create movement in my business (behind the scenes)

Then, overwhelm & fatigue set in.  I realized that in order to keep moving I needed to make some changes.

So I did!!

I didn’t need to change all of my goals, but I reflected on the most challenging, and that was my physical goal.  I was dreading every walk because of the time it took.  And walking on a treadmill in the winter was challenging.

So I just changed my goal.  Did you know you can do that?

I give you permission to change your goal if you find you are not aligned with them.

My new goal for my physical health is to eat at least 1 homemade meal a week.  Since I have been so busy, I really made it attainable, and I have been keeping my lunches really clean.

I can do that.  And it has made the rest of my goals run just a little bit smoother.

So here is your permission to reevaluate your current goals, and if one of them aren’t aligned, then change it.

Recommit to you!!

Meet Sarah Sik

For so long, I was filled with anxiety.  My emotions were all over the place.

I am a military wife and mom of two boys.

Always needing to be braced for change filled me with so much stress and overwhelm.  My thoughts and feelings were running wild.  I felt like I was always fighting an uphill battle, and never gaining any traction.

Then, something magical happened and things started to change.

It was like walking into the most beautiful forest and seeing the sun shining down brightly on my face as I peeked up at the sky.

Suddenly, I started to take control and things just became clearer.

Have you ever tried to make a change in your life, only to get a week into it and say, “I’m tired, it can wait until tomorrow.”  Only tomorrow never happens!!  Then you end up feeling guilty and down in the dumps.

It’s time for you to step up and make some changes so you can live your most exquisite life.

Come join our chic community and learn about finding balance in the chaos.  This is the supportive group you’ve been looking for.  Best of all...It’s Free!
