Title: Preparing for Deployment: Essential Steps for Military Families
Hey there, fellow military families! As a military wife who has been through the ups and downs of deployments, I understand just how overwhelming this journey can be. That's why I wanted to share some essential steps that can make the preparation for deployment a little easier. So, grab a cup of tea and let's dive right in!

Step 1: Communication is Key
Being open and honest with your spouse about your fears, worries, and expectations is crucial. He's embarking on a challenging mission, but remember, you're an integral part of his support system. Communicate your needs and ask for his support during the preparation phase. Together, you'll be able to tackle this deployment.

Step 2: Create Your Deployment Support Network
Reach out to your fellow military spouses in the area or connect online. Having a strong support network can make all the difference during this time. Lean on each other, share experiences, and offer support. You'll quickly realize you're not alone in this journey.

Step 3: Organize Your Finances
Take charge of your family's finances before the deployment begins. Plan a budget, pay bills, and ensure you have a solid understanding of your financial situation. Consider enrolling in Young Living's Essential Rewards program to save money on essential oils – a little self-care goes a long way in reducing stress! Hehe!!!

Step 4: Establish a Routine
Maintaining a routine can provide stability and comfort for both you and your children. Create a schedule that works for everyone, including meal times, bedtime routines, and family activities. Having this structure in place will help you maintain a sense of normalcy even when things feel uncertain.

Step 5: Self-Care is a Must
During this challenging time, it's essential to prioritize self-care. Take a relaxing bath, go for a walk, read a book, or practice meditation. Taking care of yourself will not only help reduce stress but also ensure you're able to support and care for your family effectively.

Preparing for deployment as a military family can be daunting, but by following these essential steps, you'll be better equipped to navigate the journey ahead. Remember, you're stronger than you think, and you have an incredible community standing by your side. Stay connected, take care of yourself, and always remember that you're part of a larger support system. Together, we can conquer anything that comes our way!

Keep your heads up, ladies. We've got this!

Meet Sarah Sik

For so long, I was filled with anxiety.  My emotions were all over the place.

I am a military wife and mom of two boys.

Always needing to be braced for change filled me with so much stress and overwhelm.  My thoughts and feelings were running wild.  I felt like I was always fighting an uphill battle, and never gaining any traction.

Then, something magical happened and things started to change.

It was like walking into the most beautiful forest and seeing the sun shining down brightly on my face as I peeked up at the sky.

Suddenly, I started to take control and things just became clearer.
